Open since February of 2008, 2900 kitchen • lounge represents another departure from the norm of the El Paso restaurant scene for third-generation El Paso restaurateur Mark Heins - who’s ground-breaking, now 29 year old, Greenery Restaurant and Market changed the landscape of dining and retail specialty food and wine in El Paso – 2900 kitchen • lounge continues to grow in popularity, pleasing guests with outstanding service and seasonally inspired, regionally influenced, new-american menus.
We take great pride in our daily deliveries of the freshest seafood, all-natural hormone-free prime beef from local rancher Mark Levine’s Bakka Ranch, hand made pastas, sinfully delicious desserts, housemade breads by Master Baker, Danny Saucedo and much, much more – all prepared with passion and expertise by our team of talented culinary professionals.
Complementing the uniqueness of the creative, delicious food is our world-class collection of fine wines and spirits — showcased in a temperature-controlled wine wall, the focal point of the lower level dining area and winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 2008! Separating our two downstairs dining areas is an enchanting 18-foot water wall which can be seen from every vantage point within the dining areas and from our in-kitchen Chef’s Table and upper-level dining areas. Upstairs features an outdoor patio — perfect for late-night al fresco dining or drinks.
Designed by another El Paso native, Rebecca Krasne, 2900’s interior space is warm urban industrial, simple, comfortably elegant – and is enhanced by the works on paper and canvas of nationally-recognized artist, Linda Lynch – all providing the perfect setting for delicious, entertaining and memorable dining.
